we both cling to the stolid secretions of the goat's head.
However immoral my vocations may be, I abide.
However listless I may be, I deride my machinations for salvation.
The developing tumor saps away my transgressions against the impure,
as the immaterial uncoils around me, the causation bears itself.
The reality of my bastardized continuance reveals itself.
The finger I drag down my face is not my own, nor is it anyone else's, my body
and I disconnect. My capacities effervesced away.
The inhabitants of my delusions urged me not to forget them,
their values they reiterated

Birdsong like gun-bark
and the night - strong and legion -
becomes the day, only still dark
It is feral - savage, even -
to have waited for this crack
It takes anti-cohesion,
whether lying on one's back,
always one hour from sleep
or sitting, shuffling a pack
of playing cards. It's cheap,
unhealthy and chaotic
There is nothing to reap
and it's hardly quixotic.
But each muted soundspark
is richly hypnotic
