The Baby Carriage: A True? Story
A woman who had just finished working the late shift as a nurse was driving home. Now, she lived out in the country, so her house was pretty far from the hospital where she worked. She had to travel down a lot of unlit, two lane roads with trees surrounding her on both sides. Usually, she didn't even pass any other cars.
This night, however, was different. She saw something in the road ahead. But it wasn't another car. Someone had left something in the middle of the road. The cafeteria hall had a stage, where presentations would be held, a movie, a play, the usual. It was rumored that above the stage the was an attic, of sorts. We figured it was a storage room for lights and such, but we were told by the janitors and some teachers that there is was a baby carriage, in the center of on of the storage rooms up there. Why it was there, no one knew. The story went that one of the janitors went up there to clean, saw the carriage, got close, then ran out of the room, his hands red with the blood coming from his missing fingers.
