Character Profile Outline
Okay, before anybody starts to think this is some weird idea, let me explain.
For anyone who knows how to write (and I mean, REALLY knows how to write), you understand that a good story has everything written out on paper first. You know, stuff like Outlines, Plot Triangles, Character Profiles. This might be of a challenge to some of you and tie you down, but unless you are capable of keeping every piece of information in your mind, this is a good resource to fall back on. If you do not need this, then fineyou arent required to use it. According to Science Fiction Writers of America, do

“I’m going to kill him…” You growled, running down another flight of stairs and dashing out on the main floor to the mess hall. Man, were his promises weak.
Ever since that eventful night, you and Levi had officially started dating, becoming more intimate with each other, and overall just more loving in general. But being the Lance Corporal’s girlfriend had a bit of a disadvantage- he had to constantly be out late at meetings with the monarchy. That left you alone at night, sitting on his bed and waiting for him to come back. He had a fairly decent schedule, coming back home whenever he

“How could you, of all people, forget your lunch?” asked Lily. Lily, my best friend, looked at me incredulously. Her expression made her brown eyes look like they were going to pop out of her face.
I was very passionate about lunch.
“I don’t know, I was in a rush this morning!” I exclaimed.
“In a rush, as in, you didn’t have enough breakfast so you had to make more?” she smirked.
“Shut up,” I laughed. To be fair, it was pretty funny. My stomach growled in protest, and Lily and I burst into another fit of giggles.
My stomach growled again and suddenly it wasn’t so funny any

it's okay to fall in love.
i mean, they tell you you're never going
to marry your high school sweetheart and i'm not going
to tell you it's a lie
because it's not. you guys will probably
break up and it's gonna hurt like hell
but you'll be okay. remember, you are not the only one
who has felt loneliness like a knife,
the only one to know the pain of lungs collapsing
because they were your air,
and you will never be the only one who whispered
"i love you" two lives too soon.
you will not be the last one to have tucked
hair behind their ear and leaned in for a kiss
or the last one to wake up reaching for a hand that's no longer there.

Way WAY Too Many Apple Pies
The spirit of autumn was in full effect as the Fall Festival lasted well into the evening hours. This was when things really started to pick up. Everywhere one looked, one could see the homemade lamps hanging from the clotheslines on high along all the beaten paths, illuminating the booths and pavilions in an ambiance of natural and artificial light. More guests arrived as the golden sunset took center stage. Every so often, a cool breeze would carry with it scents of lavender, pine, and cinnamon; a seasonal bouquet perpetuated by the merchandise of the many vendors and booth owners present on this festive evening.

One shot...
The rain pelted hard on my running form, I ran afraid of the group of men not far behind me with knives and guns firing mercilessly at me making the shots ring in my ears along with the hard rain. My mouth tasted foul of my own blood that trickled down my head and left part of my face. I clutch my right arm as I run, it dripped with fresh blood from having a bullet wedged in the flesh.
I attempted to spread my demonic black wings to fly but stopped feeling a sting in a wing meaning a bullet had successfully shot through my wing, preventing me from flying.
My emerald eyes scanned the wet s
Biting the tip of your pen, you tuck your hair behind your ear trying to solve the “Daily Sudoku” in the Tokyo newspaper. A grunt is heard from your kitchen followed by the sounds of various boxes dropping to the ground. Eye twitching a bit you choose to ignore it, adjusting your legs, you pull them back from resting on the coffee table to tuck them underneath your body. Nibbling on your bottom lip, you press your pen forward to fill in an empty slot.
Rip. Crunch. Grunt. Thud. Rip. Crunch. Grunt. Thud. Are heard coming from your kitchen.
A tick appears on your eyebrow as you try to concentrate on the Sudoku in front of you, on
