Sandra had been Keith the illusionist's assistant for several
years now. Keith thought he was very lucky to have Sandra because
she was pretty, had a pleasant out-going personality that came
across on stage, and was exceptionally flexible. They enjoyed
each others company and the work of practicing and performing
suited their temperaments.
The stage show they did together used a very modern theme, but
underneath the futuristic glittery paint work, the heavy use of
lasers and the showmanship, the show was just the usual illusions

Tamara stared attentively at her now flattened friend. Andrea laid still, looking around the room, then first tried to lift her head. Like a roll of tape, her head made kind of a “byoown” sound as it lifted off the table. Andrea tried lifting her body all at once, but her body was too stuck to the table to do so. Instead, she lifted her left arm up starting from her fingers. Byoooown… Her arm became unstuck, starting from the tip of her hand, then up to her shoulder. She became more and more delighted as more of her arm was pulled free from the table. “Tamara!” she yelled, “C’mere, check this out!”. Tamara walked over. “What is it?” Andrea’s right arm was still flat against the table, but she wiggled the arm’s fingers as best as she could. “Come peel my other arm!” she said. “Are you not able to on your own?” responded Tamara. “I can, but I just wanted you to feel how cool this is.” Andrea pulled the tips of her fingers off of the table with a “snap”, like a wad of gum. “I’ll
