well i'm new to deviant art and i don't really know what to write in here, but i'll give it a go

i love art, its my best subject at school (i'm 16) and i'm taking 3 art subjects next year YAY!!
i also love to dance, i do ballroom and latin and new vogue dancing (for those ofd you who know what that is)
i am a huge fan ofd movies too, the lord of trhe rings, most definately!! i also love the disney classics and pixar animation

A long overdue journal updateHaha its been almost a year since i last uddated this... oops
I have just been accepted into Freelance animation school which is incredibly, awesomely, uber exciting!! i'm going to have a lot of fun there

I was so surprised when they accepted me then and there!!! wow, truely awesome! and it's going to help me out so much with my drawing too!!
and then possibly the only thing that could have made me even happier actually happened... Mum and I convinced my Dad to let us go to DISNEYLAND on our way over to wales just before christmas!!!
Unfortunately exams are coming around again... and i'm stuck at home working on 2 portfolios for school but at least this is the last time i will ever have to do that!! I've been rather lonely these holidays too, mum and dad have been working and megan has been out enjoying her social life (she says i don't have one haha its almost true..) i don't know what i would have done without txting/imdb-ing/DA-ing Debra haha i love you, you keep me sane <3333A long overdue journal update5 years ago in Personal More Like This

Will I ever remember to update this regularly?^^ Probably Not.
Well much has happned since I last updated this, (October last year) *facepalm*
I went on a trip to Disneyland and Wales to visit the family for Christmas/NY
Disneyland was AWESOME! (ofcourse) I wish we could have had more time there!
The day we arrived the weather was awful. We just walked around Downtown Disney and slept for most of it. But we went to Disneyland the day after and the weather had cleared up which was fantastic ^___________^ I think people must have been put of going because of the rain the day before because we had hardly any cues for the whole morning

I am a little upset I didn't get the chance to meet any face characters

Especially the Mad Hatter who I would have loved to talk to, but oh well, i'll go again, and I'll make sure its warmer when I do and dedicate a whole day to greeting chcracters!!
Wales was FREEZING! I thaught Disney was cold, but it got to -9 degrees at night in Swansea! Even the sea started to freeze! At least I had a good exWill I ever remember to update this regularly?4 years ago in Personal

Summer!!!Well thats it!! school is over for the year (for me anyway) and i get to relax and enjoy the summer

And what a summer its going to be.. *ahem* -Melbourne -Christmas -New Years at Disneyworld -Disney Cruise to the Bahamas -General Relaxing with friends *sigh* this is the life, and (hopefully) no more rotten winter weather!!

I was right......It has taken me forever to update my DA journal - yet again.
Procrastination is a fine art and I excell at it. I doubt many people read this anyway XD
So we're over half-way through the year, scary stuff. Bad news because it means we're closer to exams. Good news because it's closer to UP, The Princess and the Frog, Where the Wild Things Are and The Lovely Bones. I think it balances itself out.
What else to say? I really don't know.
Oooh our assignment this term is portraiture, and I am rather liking it. I don't seem to know many people in the age categories we have though, so if your an Aucklander between the ages 4-60 - watch out!
I think it's time for a shower. I'm not as good at ranting as Vai is.

I've put this off for far too long..Ok, so here is another long-awaited journal entry. As always, much has happened since I last updated this, purely because it takes me so long to do so.
I am now studying animation online through the wonderful course at Animation Mentor. I feel so lucky to be a part of that amazing school! I’m a couple of weeks out from finishing the Maya workshop I opted to take before starting (because I had no 3D software experience beforehand.) There are 10 people in my class from all over the world and they are fantastic. I have been given tutorials and live chats from animators who are currently working in the animation industry, It is always incredible to hear them talk about their time at Pixar or what it was like to animate Spiderman.
Given that my course is online I now study from home. I keep being told I need to get out more, but with a growing collection of Disney DVDs and a new iMac I really don’t see the need.
I promise to tray and find the time to visit you freelancers one day.I've put this off for far too long..3 years ago in Personal More Like This
