"Okay okay..." Freddy tried in vain to calm the small noise that came from just below him, the flamingo passed a wing over his forehead intent on massaging the pink feathers around his temples. "...But how did I come up with it." Two quick coughs brought him to attention, a colleague of his was right behind him with his arms crossed. "JP! You're finally here!" The stork advanced to what the similar class had in front of him, a much smaller ring than the usual ones and smiled at the two occupants. "Lucky." The small dog with mostly gray fur smiled. "Dad!" The bird held his son in a hug for a moment and felt the latter's red gloves on his shoulders. "Are you ready?" The dog nodded quickly several times. "And you, Kitty?" On the other side of the small square sat a kitten with orange fur and a pink bow on her head. She, on the other hand, was wearing a pair of purple gloves and showed them with an amused smile. Both were also wearing a diaper. "Sorry for the delay!" A penguin, Pip, ran inside the room, due to the speed with which he tried to reach the ring faster he even fell on his face. "Are you okay?" The flamingo asked. "I 'm very good." The penguin returned to his feet shaking his head. "Kitty!" He picked up the little cat who let out a couple of purrs intent on rubbing her cheek against that of the bird. Unlike the previous embrace between the two there was no kinship bond, on the contrary, the feline was the daughter of the bosses who had power over all the adults present. "Are we ready?" "We were waiting for you." Freddy watched the penguin put the little girl back in the ring and approached the similar pink one, which JP did too. "So: the puppies insisted on this match as a form of entertainment, however we have made the gloves as harmless as possible, I will be the referee, JP will be Lucky's second and Pip will be Kitty's... Is all clear?" The other two nodded. "We can start?" Lucky asked intently wagging his tail and the flamingo smiled and then nodded. "Sure, you ca-" The bird didn't finish the sentence before the two cubs had already started fighting, both had hit each other's faces and ended up on the mat. "That was fast." Pip whispered. Shortly after, however, the two returned to their feet and, once again, struck a simultaneous blow at each other. Kitty received a blow on the cheek as she struck Lucky's belly, the dog backing against the ropes. The kitten was immediately on her and started hitting her belly alternately, a hook on the muzzle stunned the little dog who started seeing stars... Literally. "Do you see them?" Asked the referee, intent on pointing to a circle of stars rotating around Lucky's head, while his little opponent started hitting his belly again. After yet another blow the little boxer ended up sitting on the mat with his head against the last row of ropes, Kitty cheered and followed the flamingo's signal to stand in a corner. Lucky saw the referee's wings above him counting the seconds, something unknown to the little one, he stood up in an attempt to grab the ends of the feathers that increased more and more every second... but he missed. The match resumed. The dog was still distracted and so it was easy for Kitty to throw a punch that put him against the corner with his arms over the ropes. A hook to the face made the stars return around the head again, the cat began to hit the opponent's belly again. "Okay, stop." "No." The cat whispered. "No." The dog had the same reaction even though his first round hadn't gone so well. Pip massaged Kitty's temples, and she purred again, while JP stroked Lucky under the chin and the latter quickly slammed his paw on the canvas. "You may continue." Kitty was knocked out by a punch to the face but also got back up to grab the referee's wings. The two little boxers approached again and the dog landed a few punches on the belly before returning them all on the cat's belly, which ended up against the ropes. A hook to the face also made stars appear on her head, then her belly was hit again by some punches. However, the cat reacted and forced her opponent onto the ropes with a hook and then delivered uppercuts to the belly. "That's enough for now." The match was interrupted right during Lucky's reaction who threw a punch that made the visibly sleepy cat retreat, nap time was near and she had certainly spent more energy. She yawned as Pip massaged her temples again. "You can resume." Too much tiredness had no positive effects and she was easily pushed against the ropes with her arms at her sides, Lucky immediately hit her belly alternately and a hook to the cheek sent her against the corner with the stars on her head. The dog resumed belly striking and an uppercut to the chin dropped her onto the doggy in the clinch, however drowsiness made her grip weak and a little push put her back on the padded post with her belly still getting hit. A punch to the face once again caused the circle of stars and an uppercut to the chin made her sit up. She still watched Freddy's wings matter but this time she didn't have the strength to jump and catch them. "It's over." Finally said the flamingo who raised Lucky's arm, who was also visibly tired. "No!" Kitty, driven by her childish instinct and tiredness, began to cry with her little gloves over her eyes. Lucky got on his knees in front of her and held her in a hug, the minutes passed without either of them breaking away. "Little ones, it's time for..." Freddy noticed that the two had been asleep in that position for some time and simply placed a blanket over them. Requested by MrHoo1. All characters are from T.O.T.S. ITALIAN. "Tutto bene?" Chiese il fenicottero. "Sto... benissimo." Il pinguino tornò in piedi intento a scuotere la testa. "Kitty!"

FrostIron - The Devil in your Heart - part5-2
'Loki?' Tony addressed him with an anxious sense of foreboding in his voice, following his glance up to the skies over Manhattan, New York, where the tremendous portal was opening right now.
'This isn't my doing,' Loki warded off any blame, though he knew exactly who was causing this sudden change of events.
They had come, way too soon: Thanos and his forces.
They had come to conquer Midgard as well as in search for him and the Tesseract. And they wouldn't stop before they had achieved both their goals.
'Then who...?' the Iron Man attempted to ask, facing Loki again; his palm was still resting on Loki's chest, covering his heart, and read
“I’m going to look it up.”
“You don’t need to look it up,” Benji argued. “I’m telling you the answer right now.”
“Well your answer is stupid,” Cassidy countered, pulling his phone from his pocket.
“Don’t you dare-“
“Benji I swear to God-“
“He’s not!” The only clue Cassidy had to the flickering of the lights was the soft buzzing sound above him. Both boys looked towards it, but Benji composed himself before they went out completely. Now worried- Cassidy didn’t have much exposure to Benji’s power, but
