The breath of God sweeps across my skin, carrying the promise of promise itself. The screaming roar that has become my mind, quieted, oh, for but a moment. The love, the lies, the legends to me they sold, for this brief moment, behind me. Shadowing my every move, vice lingers. Waiting. Waiting for me to fail again, so it may reclaim its place in my self ravaged soul. I can hold it at bay. I CAN STAY FREE. With the breath of God and the promise of promise, I will continue my fight, I will always stay me.
