Dear Mighty Hashem Surely you have sustained me You are the one who did so From my earliest age Till the present day Even when I sold my soul All three times You carried me through And even redeemed me Certainly most certainly My wishes were granted by you Though not exactly In the manner That I would have expected I exercised superhero powers I traveled alone to Mars I wrote a masterpiece (twice over) And yes for these three boons I had a thrice price to pay But it was worth it To have participated With the supernatural To have witnessed miracles To have received guidance From up upon high Or was it the e-vil de-vil That approved the contracts That I signed in my heart Woe how deep a hole have I dug? Or again did God say Not this one And use me like a mouthpiece To proclaim His majesty Or am I still going to burn?
