Gotham She-Hulks Alternate Outcome Prologue
A young man around 23 going on 24 was driving a 1968 blue Roadrunner Plymouth to Gotham City. He looked to be 5'11 and had Caucasian skin, short light brown hair, dark blue eyes, and handsome features. He wore a T-shirt that said, “Rey Is A Skywalker, Deal With It.” blue jeans, green socks, and black Chuck Taylor All-Star sneakers. This young man's name was Kevin Beaumont. Kevin drove around until he was able to find the building to Wayne Enterprises. He parked the car and got out. He wandered into the building’s main entrance, and went to the reception desk. The secretary, who looked like a young Edie McClurg, looked at Kevin and said, “Welcome to Wayne Enterprises, how may I help you?” Kevin cleared his throat and said, “uh hello, my name's Kevin Beaumont. I was wondering, is Mr Bruce Wayne available to speak to today?” “Let me see,” said the perky sounding secretary who almost sounded like she wanted to see Kevin's rental agreement, “looks like Mr Wayne doesn't have any meetings right now aside from a Miss Barbara Gordon, but she'll be here in a few minutes. Heard it shouldn't be too long between them. Let me see if I can squeeze you in…” She dialed Bruce's work number and when he picked up, she said, “hello Mr Wayne, I have a Kevin Beaumont that would like to speak to you. Yes, his name is Beaumont. Young, looks to be a college graduate, 5 '11, athletic, handsome, light brown hair, dark blue eyes, and Caucasian skin. Alright, I'll have him come over to your office. Thank you Mr Wayne.” The secretary hung up the phone and said, “okay Mr Beaumont, Mr Wayne will see you now in his office. The elevator to his office is all the way to the middle.” Kevin nodded jovially and said, “much obliged.” He then walked all the way to the elevator. Once the elevator went ding and opened, Kevin got in when a feminine voice that sounded like Ashi from Samurai Jack said, “hold that elevator, please!” Kevin pressed the open button as a 26-year-old woman in a wheelchair rolled in, making sure it was held open for her. This woman had long red hair in a ponytail, lovely sky blue eyes with glasses, she wore a green sweater, blue jeans, and trainer shoes. The moment Kevin saw this young woman in a wheelchair, he thought she was the most beautiful angel he had ever seen. The red-headed woman in the wheelchair also caught Kevin and thought he was quite handsome. It was almost like a brief spark between the two occurred. Kevin gave a shy dopey smile as the woman said, “thanks again for holding the elevator open for me. It would be a bitch taking the stairs in this wheelchair.” Kevin chuckled, “oh yeah, I know what you mean. So, going up?” He pressed the top floor button and the redhead said, “yep. You too?” “Pretty much,” said Kevin, “I have some family business to take care of.” The woman nodded and said, “I see. I guess the fact that we're going to meet Mr Wayne at the same time is just a coincidence.” Kevin was unsure what to say next, so he offered his hand and said, “I'm Kevin Beaumont by the way.” The woman shook his hand and replied, “I'm Barbara Gordon. Nice to meet you, Kevin.” The young man blushed when Barbara shook his hand. Barbara looked at Kevin's T-shirt and chuckled, “nice T-shirt. I guess you're one of those people that was okay with Episode 9?” Kevin realized what shirt he was wearing and he said, “yeah. I wasn't that bothered when Rey decided to call herself a Skywalker. The way I saw it, she wanted to honor the legacy of Luke and Leia by adopting their name as they were more like family to her.” Babs nodded and said, “that totally makes sense. Most people that are complaining about Rey being a Mary Sue are a bunch of sad little trolls who don't have a life. They feel so entitled to bully those that like the Disney sequels all because they got flacked on for liking the prequels.” ”I like them all,” said Kevin, “regardless of any imperfections, I like the original trilogy, the prequel trilogy, and the sequel trilogy. And I won't let anyone change my opinion on what I can like.” Barbara smiled and said, “that's well said, Kevin. Do you think they have a t-shirt like that in my size?” Kevin rubbed the back of his head shyly and said, “If you want, I could show you online.” Barbara blushed and said, “I think I would like that, Kevin.” Ding! The elevator made it to the top and opened up to reveal the office of Bruce Wayne. Kevin allowed Barbara to get off the elevator first as he followed second. They saw Bruce Wayne in one of his regular business suits, and he said in his suave billionaire playboy voice, “Miss Gordon, I'm glad to see that you were able to make it. I’ll be with you in a moment. Is that Kevin Beaumont right behind you?” “Hello, Mr Wayne.” Kevin said nervously as he approached the billionaire. It took Barbara a moment to realize how similar looking Kevin was to Bruce. Why, Kevin could almost be mistaken for a teenager with his youthful looking face that almost looked like an older Damian Wayne. And he had the same dark blue eyes Bruce had. Bruce stood from his chair and said, “nice to meet you, Mr. Beaumont. Mind if I call you Kevin?” Kevin nodded and said, “why sure, sir.” Bruce looked at him and said, “great to know. So Kevin, would you happen to be related to Carl Beaumont or his daughter Andrea? I know that the Beaumont surname is quite similar in the UK.” He could tell that Kevin had some facial features similar to Andrea. “Why yes Mr Wayne, Andrea Beaumont's my mother,” confirmed Kevin, “she wanted me to give this to you.” He handed Bruce two pieces of paper with important information. Bruce looked at Barbara and said in his natural rough voice, “Barbara, can you promise to not tell anyone else of what's happening for now?” Babs nodded and said, “I'll make sure this doesn't leave the room.” Bruce then took a look at the first document which was a birth certificate that confirmed that Kevin was his biological son and that Andrea was the mother. Bruce then took a look at the second document which was a letter written by Andrea. In that letter, Andrea explained how Kevin was conceived on the night she and Bruce made love, and how she raised Kevin on her own. When Bruce was finished reading the letter, he placed the two documents on his table, processing all this. “I have another son…” Bruce quietly said. He looked at Kevin and said, “how would you like to come over to Wayne Manor with me so that we can discuss this further, son? Barbara, you can come with us so that we can discuss more about the technological updates.” Barbara could clearly tell that Kevin was Bruce's son as he smiled and said, “I'd like that a lot.” Babs smiled and said, “Don't worry boys, this stays here with me."
