Drift-Ch.1I remember the first time I shifted. It was dreadfully painful, terrorizing and exciting all at once. The melting of the bones as they took on a new form, the fear that you might die from the pain, and the rush of adrenaline that makes your heart beat a hundred miles per hour. All the color slowly being drained from your world as you enter another mind completely, changing your entire perspective.
