Maybe it's time to stop being a fan girlMaybe the Universe is giving me many strong signs to stop being a fan girl and start creating for myself. It started with Promtalia back in April. I couldn't go because I got a crappy grade on the last After Effects project so I wasnt allowed to go out of state until my grades improved. Also I didn't have the time or the money to go and get appropriate Russia prom wear. Next at Sakura Matsuri I was walking with my Hetalia group to do a Photoshoot when I got glomped. The group walked ahead of me and when I got left behind, I couldn't find them any where in the huge crowds. So instead of doing the photoshoot I did a manga drawing workshop where I got to work on two of my O.C.s ( Alison and Jessie) with a professional Manga artist. Next came the New York aids walk where I was supposed to do a 10k with my team The Hetalia cosplayers. However, Right before the race, I had gotten a blister on my foot from the new converse sneakers I had gotten. here comes the sunhullo, deviantart people. I really have no idea where the time goes! It's already halfway through June...
I was at Anime North this year, as usual. This ended up being a rather relaxed and low-key year for me, though not by choice. I spent a lot of time resting in my hotel room because I felt under the weather. I was also feeling ill and had a rough time at Con-G earlier this year. I think maybe all the high tension and travelling involved in conventions has been a little detrimental to my health.
I did do a really fun photoshoot with :iconNyghtwyndx: in my Zatanna costume on the Thursday night before the convention. He has some of our favourites from the shoot up on his gallery and I will likely put up a few as well.
My next event will be the Toronto Cosplay Picnic later this month. Pan and Elemental have stepped down from organizing it, but other people in the community have since stepped up to keep the tradition alive. I'm hoping to wear the Poison Ivy costume that :iconhere comes the sun6 days ago in Personal

A small update - a cosplay of Poison from Street Fighter vs Tekkeb on the way. I'll be presenting it in the beginning of July.
And a much larger project - a female version of Death from Darksiders 2(a very dear to me game series), which I hopefully will finish in time and will present in September. So far so good, don't get offended if I don't answer right away or update here regularly - I'm just a lazy bum as far as that goes, so yeah
