Summer UpdatesI finally caved and began watching My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. I think most of my hatred for the fandom was mostly directed toward the fans; I've seen some nasty stuff on the internet and right here on dA. Makes me wonder how people can corrupt something so innocent that's meant to teach young kids life lessons. Some fans are just messed up in the head, I guess. In 1997 a subsidiary of Hasbro called Kenner released what is now known as the G2 series of MLP toys. They also made Littlest Pet Shop toys that were way cooler than the ones nowadays (the water garden kitties set, for example), and I started searching for them on eBay, hoping to find the set I loved playing with the most, which I ended up finding on Bonanza. Apparently the G2 series was only released in the US for three years but lasted until 2003 in Europe and other parts of the world, so some ponies, like the unicorns, are worth a lot. We had a visit from a Pony I honestly never expected to see.

I get to pick up my glasses tomorrow. Yep,I need glasses. Only just though,I'm slightly shortsighted,that's all. I only need to wear them when I feel I need to,which isn't too often. There was some special deal on,plus you get extra money off (as I am under 16) so I have managed to get 2 pairs of glasses

I'll upload pics tomorrow.
I'm probably going into town after,pick up some stuff from Lush,go searching for ponies in the charity shops again. Although I've never found any genuine ones yet,I think I'm getting closer,as last weekend I found the G2 computer game My Little Pony: Friendship Gardens in the British Heart Foundation! I already have it though,so wasn't really worth finding it

it's a pile of gimmicksWe've all seen the trailer for the my little pony movie equestria girls http://m.youtube.com/index?&desktop_uri=%2F#/home right? So you're aware that it's a pile of overused teen drama themes and shitty character design's? No? Here's why.
twilight sparkle (a non-human being)is sent to our world and must learn human customs and basically how to be human. Examples of this theme include: E.T. elf (buddy was raised as an elf) and ponyo.
Twilight sparkle has to win prom queen to get back home. Movies that share the need to win prom queen include... well, I actually can't name any but goddam it's cliche.
Finally there's the cute member of t he opposite sex that might tempt them to stay. I won't even list the examples because the list goes on and on. I will mention eragon and Rosario+vampire. Plus bleach.
