I'm so excited for Comic-Con woooThis weekend I'm going to Philadelphia Comic-Con and if you did not read it in the title of this journal I am excited. This is the first time I'm dressing up so wooooo!
I just hoped I'm not called a fake geek girl because I will destroy whoever calls me that with my knowledge and then belittled their manhood...unless they know more because I'm not claiming to know everything single thing in the whole wide world when it comes to comics or you're a girl since I can't really belittled your manhood

During this time I have been working on my first comic thanks to IDW, under the command of great Sohaib Awan. Soon there will be more good news, but for now I prefer not to say more. EPIC MOVIES : Man of Steel !THIS MOVIE KICKS ASS !
Seriously not since the Avengers have i seen anything kick this much ass within my life . Man of Steel has to be the most badass version of Superman within cinema history, giving Christopher Nolan's Batman a run for his money. This is better than Ironman 3 ( which i've been too busy to review but would review sometime this week ) and Ironman 3 was a very enjoyable movie.

i dunno, really....I just watched a movie about a girl who was depressed and killed her husband who just got out of jail because her medication had weird side affects, but it turned out that the psychiatrist she was seeing's life got torn apart because he prescribed that medication and everyone blamed him, so he started doing all of this crazy stuff to figure out how to get his life back AND IN THE PROCESS HE FOUND OUT THAT THE GIRL WASN'T DEPRESSED AT ALL AND SHE JUST KILLED HER HUSBAND SO SHE COULD BE WITH HER OLD PSYCHIATRIST WHO HAPPENED TO BE A LESBIAN (as far as I know).

It was the most bizarre movie I've ever watched, so many plot twists! o: But it made you think a lot because it was really interesting. I didn't really like the music in it, I didn't really like the camera angles all of the time... I started watching it during season 4 and have yet to watch the first three seasons. Jesus Christ I am about to correct that this weekend.
In the meantime, anyone ever see All Superheroes Must Die? It's a cool little fucking film. Like a low budget version of Kick Ass.
And since I'm a horror movie freak I also watched American Mary today. All I can say is wow, Katharine Isabelle can act. Shame the majority of her characters meet the same fate in the end.
Also you lovely people reading this have got to watch Girls Against Boys. (Not if you're 13 and under! It will fuck you up!) It's a cool movie, like the female version of fight club in my opinion.
Give these films a watch, you won't regret it!

:: There's a wolf in my heart for you ::I apologize in advance for the slim music selection here. I have been really into the hard rock / heavy metal music this past while and it has leaked into this meme. Devil shit, y'know, the good stuff that kids aren't supposed to listen to in this era.
It helps me block out the rest of the world during these, uh, complicated times.
Jenna mentioned that she wanted to get away from everyone for a while sometime. For me, I think the best defenition of freedom would be driving down a lone highway with rock music cranked up and the windows cranked down.
Alone, without parents and without friends, because I don't even know who my friends are.
I'm sorry to my friends for not being a normal teenager who wants to go shopping for a prom dress or shoes or whatever the fuck else people wear. I would rather be shopping for video games. I don't want to see romantic comedies every weekend with hot actors. I'm not even interested in romance.

Man of Steel Review (Spoiler Warning.)If you haven't seen it yet, GO SEE IT NOW! It's still opening weekend, so you are excused for now.
*****SPOILERS AHEAD. TURN BACK NOW.*****
I thought it was amazing and would honestly call it one of the best superhero films we have seen yet.
I'll start with the tone. At first I was a little worried because I feared that they were trying too hard to mimic Nolan's Gotham, but I was wrong to assume that. It wasn't as bright and campy as we are used to, but it had a very forgiving tone. For most of the movie, I felt like this could actually be happening here on Earth. There were some really amazing camera angles as well. There was a zoom affect they used often which was a great way to increase the tension of the scene and make the situation seem even greater and sometimes graver.
Henry Cavil. There was just something about his facial expression and the way he holds his head that just screams Superman in this world. It's a kind of look that's both sympathetic and hopeful. And the two timesMan of Steel Review (Spoiler Warning.)5 days ago in Personal
