#22: The whole story.. What happened to my Pop.I need to get this story out... I need it published. I want others to know my story, exactly what happened.

I sit and wonder if maybe we were in the wrong room, and that any day the hospital will call and tell us "He was one room down. He's ok, just fine. He wants to go home." But I know that isn't the case. I saw my Pop on that bed.
This entire thing started with an accident. He pulled out his kidney tube, the tube that directed chemo to his kidney. He was giving himself an injection of a medication the doctors gave him, and the tube got hooked on the chair arm. It was a simple mistake. But it did so much damage. They took him to the hospital, thinking they'd do a simple surgery to put the tube back in. I was with my cousin Kayla at the time, spending the night at her house. They called us from the hospital, and I talked to Pop. He told me he loved me, and I wished him luck on his surgery. That was the last time I ever spoke to him.
