Jubilee had grown impatient. Her teammate Rogue had been sent to infiltrate a mansion belonging to the Hellfire Club, but she was no longer responding. Against all orders to stay put, Jubilee had decided to brute force her way through the entrance and find her fellow mutant before any of the Club's inner circle arrived. With her powers, she knocked out guards and blasted open doorways, all the while calling out for Rogue to answer her. Jubilee only stopped to catch her breath when she had run through half the mansion's hallways, but she was still no closer to finding her. Thankfully, she was about to be proven wrong. "Jubilee?" "Rogue!" the mutant gasped, looking up as her exhaustion was forgotten. "Oh man, I thought I... what are you wearing?" "Oh, this?" Rogue mused, gesturing to her silver halter dress. Blood trickles down from the tip of Jeff’s left ear as he pants softly, his paws trembling faintly as he stands with his back to his latest kill. A scrawny brown wolf with eyes as green as the forest’s leaves, wrought with terror. It was not a wolf he would’ve killed of his own volition, but someone Slenderman had asked him to take care of. As a good little lackey, Jeff did. The silver wolf can’t deny just how his heart stuttered at the sight of the wolf sleeping in their bed, safe from the outside world. For a moment, in the dim light, he had thought it was his brother. A wolf he had not seen in years, yet somewhere deep inside longed for. Jeff shakes his head, pressing his nose to the cracked front door and slipping outside, his paws dipped in ruby. Splotches of sticky blood are left in his wake, staining the front steps and the grass as he passes by the brown wolf’s garden, his heart feeling like a stone in his chest, weighing him down.
