Brobdingnagian Birthday - Chapter 51
Claire "Why am I not allowed to see my own sister?" Claire snapped as she closed the door behind her. Her mother sat hunched over on a chair, facing away from her. It took quite some time before a response came. Just when Claire was convinced that her mother had not heard her or that she simply decided to ignore her, Claire parted her lips to speak. However, before any sound came from Claire's throat, her mother looked over her shoulder. Claire was taken aback by the wearisome look beaming from her mother's eyes. Does she even try to sleep? "Hey sweety, come here," Sophie reached her hand out while giving her daughter a faint smile. Claire sauntered up to her mother. "You still haven't answered my question." Sophie pushed out a long exhale as she grabbed her daughter's hand, giving it a kiss and cuddling it with both hands. "I'm sorry, dear. It's just… I don't know anymore. I'm sorry, honestly. I should not have done that." Claire couldn't bring herself to tell her mother that

LINK: https://www.writing.com/main/interactive-story/item_id/2298904-Upsizing-Family Hi everyone! With the help of a friend of mine I finally started a project that I wanted to do for a while: I opened an interactive story on writing.com. Some of you may remember my first interactive, Upsizing Family. Well, this is a sort of reboot of it (it has the same name in fact)! The protagonist is the only normal-sized person in a family of giants and you'll write about their daily shenanigans. Don't by shy, ADD! It only will make the story better.

Rise of the Mega Horse Part 4 END
All three flashlights whirled to shine on her face. That must have looked so cool to see a mare standing up to a full ten foot height and placing hands on her hips. If only she had a video camera to capture the view.
The thugs had ski masks hiding their faces, but she could easily smell their immediate fear. One was carrying a large sledgehammer in his spar hand, while another had the crowbar used to break the door.
"You won't be hurting Hazel, John, or anyone for that matter." Hazel snorted before flexing to make her muscles puff up. "Not while I'm breathing!"
The thugs took turns staring up at Hazel and each other
“It’s been two months since you broke up with Adam,” Macy shouted. “It’s time you moved on with your life.” “I have moved on,” Jess responded in a huff. “I think she means you should start seeing someone new,” Sasha replied. The three women were sitting together at the bar as they did every Friday evening. The place was packed, and the women’s conversation was indistinguishable from the other patrons’ boisterous chatter. “Exactly, Sash. Look at all the hotties here. Surely, one of them’s gotta meet your standards.” Jess didn’t even turn her head, focused solely on her glass as she circled the rim with her finger. “I’m not picking up some loser here. I’m not in college anymore. Besides…” Sasha and Macy leaned in toward their friend. They knew where she was going and weren’t going to miss it amongst the ambient noise. Jess’ cheeks grew flush as she brushed her hair behind her ear. “…there is a guy I like.” Sasha and Macy’s faces

I stand there in shock, confused as just a few hours ago I had been sitting at home, mourning my fiance's sudden disappearance from a couple days ago. that matched the sudden appearance of a giant humanoid creature on the news, with strange abilities that baffled science and everything we knew about life.
It was peculiar, but it was to much of a coincidence for it to be

Thomas strolled into his classroom as the bell tolled and his teacher was already in the midst of taking attendance.
'Thomas Murphy", his teacher said, "You're lucky to be last on my list. Get to your seat young man".
Thomas nodded and walked towards where his friend Percy was seated by the window. However, everyone noticed something was different about the kid who sat at the back of class, their eyes glued to him as he took his seat.
"Hey Thomas," whispered Percy, "You look different today..."
"Yeah. I had a bit of a growth spurt last night. Cool huh?"
"Totally. I mean you were as tall as the teacher up there".
"Percy!" Do you think yo

Chapter I Assessing the Situation
Eyes opening up to a strange new world around her, Michelle Clara Knight sat up with an audibly loud groan. What did I do...? It feels like I have the hangover of the century! More importantly... She looked around briefly at the unfamiliar territory. Where the heck am I?
Impossibly large peach-colored walls towered above her on all sides and when she looked above to the ceiling, she saw a chandelier, appropriately separated from its siblings also on differen

Six months later
Nevan stood outside the courthouse, anxiously awaiting the verdict on Brad's trial. Nervously, he adjusted his tie, and allowed himself a slight grin. After all, it had not been so long ago that he thought he would never wear one of these things. He had been asked to testify in court, and he had been more than glad to. Of course, he could not fit in the courtroom so had testified via webcam from outside. Nevertheless, a couple local tailors had jumped at the chance to make him a custom suit for the trial. They had even done it for free, paying for the material and labor out of their own pockets. Of course, they h

Liz strode amid the rows of houses, her bright red eyes taking in the beauty of her neighborhood as the winter sun cast its golden rays down amid the eves and smoking chimneys. At length she approached a large two story dwelling that carried the sentimental value attached to the place one called home, dropping a hand into the upper half of her two piece garment (hidden beneath a heavy cloak) to extract a ring of keys. Jingling the metallic teeth-ridden objects the dragon fitted a smaller member of the bunch into a lock just beneath the door's handle, giving it a slight twist to swing the large oaken portal wide.
With a relaxed smile Liz slip
"Jesus Christ—don't step on me!"
At the faint squeal, Evan paused in place, feeling a trickle of sweat slither down his temple. The sound had come from below him—never a good sign of any kind—and the absolute worst of worst-case scenarios flooded into his overthoughtful mind, the image of his sole meeting another's soul as some poor human may have been pancaked underfoot. His heart plummeted, and with enough nerve, he managed to turn his gaze downwards.
What he found, thankfully, was no sight of a flattened human. In fact, one human boy stood very near to the front of his converse sneaker—a hair's breadth away from h

Hazel had become many things, but 'all right' was not one of them. This was certainly not a good place or time to show off fates new gifts. She raced in little circles around the room debating heatedly between trying to hide under her straw bed or taking her chances diving out the window. The mares muscles were tensing in desperating to make something happen. She found herself actually wishing to go back to her scrawny normal body again.
Suddenly something gave inside Hazel. Gravity reasserted it's hold by yanking her forward with a startled yelp. Eyes snapped close as hands managed to catch her landing just a John came up to her
